As you can see, there is our sign. You can see it from El Roblar Drive. We are on the North side of the street, just East of Arnaz ave. We have a small parking lot just off the street. So when you come for your appointment. It's easy to spot my sign first! The address (648), is on the left of my sign. Just pull in past the open gate, and park with ease. Please call, for an appointment first. We are not a street front store. We are just a Photography Studio. No resale here. All our sessions are Private. Just for the Client, and the Client's family, and Friends, only. Until you book your session with me! We are now in CERRO, New Mexico.
Looking inside my Portrait Studio
When you walk inside. This is what you see first. Our display table, and sitting area.
As you turn to the left, you will see where our clients sit to talk over contracts, or watch the photo shoot. We always had pleasant music on, so you can watch the session in comfort. Or just read a magazine. We do offer water or soft drinks, if needed? Our sittings are for one & one half hours. And there is a dressing room, if you want to change clothes for another pose. We set up private appointments as late as 6:30pm., week nights. An on Sundays, after 1:00pm., for those who work week days.
When you look around our Studio, you will see some of my Lighting. I shoot most of my Photographs, with Four Strobes. An use as many as Seven, for special effects, if needed? I have over 25 Muslins, and Canvases to choose from, for your background. We try to coordinate our backgrounds, with the colors that you want to wear for your Portrait. Balance is important, for a great Portrait. You will see a sample of your Portrait first, to see if you like it? I can always change a Background, before I shoot the whole session. We can always change a color to your liking. If you are a Photographer, and need to use my Studio? We will set it up for you. It rents for $100.00 per hour. It has a dressing room. And has air-conditioning for your comfort.
What you are looking at is my Portrait Camera. I like the Pentax 645N. It takes a great photograph. It is a very flexable camera, for my studio work. And has a large negative for great detail in your final print. You could blow them up 5x8 feet if need be. It will flash sync, as high as 500th of a second. Great for Babies, or Action Shots to freeze frame the action clearly. I also shoot with 4 by 5 (large format), and the standard 135mm, (Nikon), is what I like.
